EcoBell4 Rotary atomizer

From green to red to yellow to blue. With the EcoBell4 atomizer generation and 4-main-needle technology, color change becomes a matter of seconds - with the lowest possible coating and rinsing agent losses. This means faster cycle times, higher capacities, less VOC emissions.

For the first time, Dürr offers two variants in one atomizer generation: the basic version for standard applications and the Pro version for special processes such as 4x1K or 3x2K.

A suitable atomizer is available in the portfolio for all interior and exterior painting applications with direct or exterior charging:

EcoBell4 Basic version

The basic version, meets all quality requirements and holds all functionalities ready for standard applications with 1K and 2K coatings. The external charging of the atomizer has been further developed and achieves an even higher application efficiency. In addition, the EcoBell4 is equipped with a speed sensor. This is robust and easy to maintain.

For better accessibility in interior and exterior painting, the atomizer is arranged at a 70 degree angle. To prevent failures due to wear, a vibration sensor is integrated in the robot. This detects imbalances in the bell disk and turbine before they lead to further damage.

With the practical protective cover and a patented fastening concept, contamination is significantly reduced and so are cleaning intervals. The basic version is already equipped with RFID technology. This documents the operating parameters of the installed components. Predictive maintenance is now possible.

EcoBell4 Pro – the 4fold efficiency

The EcoBell4 Pro versions were developed for special requirements. With the 4-main needle technology, the universal bell disk / shaping air ring system and the removable external charge system, the atomizers set the benchmark in terms of efficiency and resource consumption.

With the 4 main needles, the atomizer achieves the shortest color change times, the lowest paint and rinsing agent losses, and the highest flexibility for all processes.

Color changes become possible within only 4 seconds. This means less rinsing medium is used - it reduces costs and protects the environment due to the lower VOC input into the booth.

The 4 main needle technology can be used in the primer as well as in the basecoat and clearcoat. This makes all conceivable combinations possible. From the 4-color solution in the basecoat to 3x2K solutions in the clearcoat.

All EcoBell4 atomizers can be cleaned with the EcoBell Cleaner D2 cleaning device. The electrodes of the EcoBell4 Pro are now also designed to be cleaned automatically. The new EcoBell Cleaner E2 is available for this purpose. It cleans the electrode fingers in just 8 seconds. Cleaning stops by hand are significantly reduced.

Exchangeable electrode rings - The flexibility miracle

Another innovation with great savings potential are the patented removable external charges, which can be individually combined within the Pro series. This feature for fast electrode changes makes it possible to reduce the number of painting robots in our box concept. This is because dirty electrode rings are simply deposited and exchanged for a clean one - without the system having to stop for the cleaning process. All in all, this increases capacity, as 50 to 100 more car bodies can be produced every day than before.

The universal genius – EcoBell4 Pro Ux

In the EcoProBooth, interior and exterior painting can be carried out in one booth. This is where the EcoBell4 Pro Ux shows its full strength. With one and the same bell cup / shaping air ring system, the universal atomizer applies narrow spray jets for interior painting, wide spray jets for exterior painting, as well as metallic applications.
